Garage Á Trois – Always Be Happy, But Stay Evil

I’m fixing to go to bed, so I’ll keep this short.  I hadn’t heard of this quartet prior to clicking on them on iTunes, looking for something interesting – happy I did that.  It’s a jazz/blues/classic rock fusion, driven by each of the instruments together as a unit.  It’s quite interesting – although I’ve read that the band is without the guitar, which makes me want to go back and hear previous work.  For me, the standouts were “Omar”, “The Drum Department”, “Thumb” and “Assault on Precinct 13”.

Grade: B.  Something interesting and fun to listen to…
