Copywrite – The Life and Times of Peter Nelson
The title pretty much explains the concept of the album – it’s a memoir of a rapper. Copy is dope – not like super dope like, I dunno, Elzhi, or someone like that. But you have to appreciate the very upfront honesty he gives you on this album (this is actually the first album I’ve purchased by him.) He talks about his life, including the deaths of his parents, dust ups with Camu Tao (RIP), Cage, and Icon, and issues he has with the internet and bloggers.
I sort of bought this on a lark – but it was mostly decent, happy with my purchase. It is a little long, but I think the extra stuff is still quality work. Recommended.
