good point...i think this is very relevent. maybe we don't need to drive cars as much as we think we do. but then again we have been raised on comfort, convienence, and laziness...so who knows?

well....Madlib doesn't do much in the way of "sucks"....and Pete is usually cash money.....looks like a potential winner. I AM VERY EXCITED for the Elzhi album - although I wish he used Madlib or Marco Polo for those two songs produced by T3 and DJ Dez. But then again, I haven't heard the songs yet.....we'll see. Just on lyrics alone I can forecast a 4 out of 5. I don't know a person nicer than Elzhi, line for line at the moment. Others might ride a beat better...but his flows and rhyme patterns are basically unmatched, except for Jay-Z, I suppose. But then again, Carter is almost the Jeezus Christ of rap. (On another note) The dude just got finished tearing down Glastonbury - HIP HOP!!!!! I wish cats would really understand how big a deal Jay-Z playing Glastonbury really is. I would venture to say it's one the biggest, most important things that's ever happened to hip hop.

I liked it...I mean it is just an EP....it's like 5 songs. It wasn't much of a risk there.

i've been listening/watching this mugabe thing...first, i am NO FAN of robert mugabe...but, i'm not so sure that we should be so adamant to express disbelief that the UN has not unseated mugabe...fact is, mugabe represents a post-colonial developing african government...how many other countries outside of africa have wack leaders that we never hear demonized like is the case for mugabe...i agree that dude needs to be OUT b/c he initiated and carried out countless injustices against his own people...but what good will having the "righteous" UN (led by america) swoop in and unseat mugabe and watch the country spiral in to chaos...there have to be more diplomatic ways of dealing with this, ways that respect the people of zimbabwe's sovereignty as a nation...b/c once the UN comes in, what kind of power structure will they put in place that will be truly beneficial to the people?...they'll just assign a puppet like they do in every country they "save" from an "evil dictator."

like a friend of mine says "do you want foreign snakes or domestic ones?...

Much of this apparently fueled by corruption.

What people fail to realize is corruption builds sloppy, unworkable defense, weapons systems that fail, promoting stupid, unqualified people.

So the Pentagon either has to get it together, and weed this trash out, for good, or it falls.

And it will fall, just like the Soviet Army before it.
